4wd Tyres
There are 3 main classes of 4×4 tyres: Highway Pattern (H/T or H/P), All Terrain (A/T) and Mud tyres (M/T). Some crossover patterns are starting to come through, eg Rugged Terrain (halfway between A/T and M/T).
A common concern for ute drivers is that tyres will be noisy. Our experience means we can advise what brands/models of tyre will be quieter and more comfortable in the ride than is typical.
Upsizing is popular for ute wheels and tyres. We do see vehicles come in that have had bargain price wheel and tyre packages fitted but with disappointing results. Some cheap rims and tyres are not even round.
