How We Operate
Being an independent tyre shop (Auckland family owned) we have no ‘sweetheart’ volume/sales commitments to any supplier or brand. We therefore add the same margin to all tyres of the same size so that there is no incentive on us to steer you to any particular brand.
So, when we give you advice, we do so uncompromised and in your best interests.
We have a very experienced team who are more than technicians – they’re experts.
meet the team
Established in 1978, Autotreads is owned by a local Auckland family. Darrin Hogan (suspension and alignments) and Vic Smith (commercial manager) have each been here over 25 years, and have over 70 years industry experience between them.
Sam is our fleet service man and has established himself as a capable and super reliable set of hands with a cool head.
David looks after the office side of things when not on the tools fitting 21” tyres to BMW SUVs or repairing punctures on 16” truck tyres.
Scratching your head because our invoice looks too cheap (again!) ? Hiromi in accounts can help you there. She’ll probably tell you the invoice was correct.
